The primary activity of the Hillsborough River Association in 2004-05 was the enhancement of awareness on the Hillsborough Canadian Heritage River.  Several educational meetings were held to explore various facets of the river=s history.  Considerable time was spent on networking with community members, provincial and federal government agencies, municipal governments, First Nations, and private sector businesses to increase awareness of the river=s status as a Canadian Heritage River and to encourage improvements to the natural and cultural history.
